Nutcracker Auditions
Would you like to join the cast of this year’s The Nutcracker Ballet?
Ballet Continental’s Dance Company and Pre-Troupe dancers are supported in The Nutcracker Ballet by guest performers in many supporting roles, ages 8 through adult. You do not need to be enrolled in a class at Ballet Continental to audition, but you must be currently enrolled in a Ballet III or higher class at your home dance studio.
Auditions will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at the Ballet Continental dance studio. In-person registration will begin at 10:30 am, with auditions starting promptly at 11:00 am. A $20 non-refundable audition fee is due at the time of the audition. Spectators will be charged a fee of $5.
Girls should wear a black leotard, pink tights, black skirt, and pink ballet slippers. Hair MUST be in a bun (no bangs).
Boys should wear a white t-shirt, black tights or shorts, black or white ballet slippers, and white socks. Hair must be neatly combed and out of the face.
Not all who audition will be selected for this year’s performances.
