  • Parent, Donor, & Customer Information: Name, email address, phone number, billing/shipping address.
  • Student Information (Provided by Parents): Name, date of birth (for class placement), gender, emergency contact details and optional medical/allergy notes for safety during class.
  • Automated Website Data: IP addresses, browser types, and website behavior collected via cookies when you navigate our site.
  • Payment Data: Credit card or bank details processed securely by our third-party payment providers. We do not store raw payment details on our own servers.

We use the collected data strictly to run our operations, including:

  • Verifying age requirements for specific dance classes and programs.
  • Organizing class rosters and managing student accounts.
  • Processing tuition payments, online store orders, and donations.

  • Squarespace: Our website, online store, and donor management are powered by Squarespace. Information provided during purchases or donations is processed through their secure platform, and we use Squarespace to send marketing and donor update emails.
  • Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics to track anonymized website traffic and behavior. This helps us understand how visitors interact with our website so we can improve it. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect this data. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by using a browser add-on or adjusting your cookie preferences.
  • Payment Processors: Financial data is sent securely to our integrated third-party payment gateways (via Jackrabbit and Squarespace) to safely handle transactions.

  • Administrative Emails: Parents will receive essential class updates, schedules, and billing invoices via Jackrabbit. These are required to maintain your student’s enrollment.
  • Marketing & Donor Updates: We use Squarespace to send newsletters, store promotions, and donation campaigns. You can opt out of these marketing emails at any time by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of the email.

6. Media Release (Photos and Videos)

We love celebrating our dancers! We routinely take photos and videos during classes, rehearsals, and performances.

  • Usage: These images may be used on our website, social media channels, and promotional materials.
  • Identification: We do not publish the full names or specific personal details of minor students alongside their photos without explicit parental permission.
  • Opt-Out: Parents and guardians have the right to opt out of this media release. If you do not want your child’s image used, please notify us in writing.
