Dance Company
Ballet Continental’s Dance Company is an advanced performance program comprised of artists ages 12 through adult. Dancers are selected for each season, which runs from February–December, through an annual audition process designed to introduce participants to professional standards of evaluation and selection.
Company dancers participate in weekly rehearsals on Wednesday evenings and Saturday afternoons, with additional rehearsals scheduled for those cast in featured or lead roles. Members come from communities throughout Southern Arizona, including Tucson, Sahuarita, Green Valley, Amado, Tubac, Tumacácori, Rio Rico, and Nogales, reflecting the Company’s broad regional reach.
Our Pre-Troupe training program is a stepping stone to the Dance Company, equipping younger dancers with the skills needed to successfully audition and thrive in the advanced company program.
2026 Season Performances
The Dance Company produces two major performances each year. For our 2026 season, we are proud to present Enchanted and our annual The Nutcracker Ballet.

Pre-Troupe
Our Pre-Troupe training program is a stepping stone to the advanced Dance Company, empowering dancers to unlock their full potential and equipping them with the tools and experience needed to thrive in the demanding world of dance performance.
Pre-Troupe dancers participate in a weekly rehearsal on Tuesday evenings focused on technique and skill development. They are also regularly featured in supporting roles in the annual performances produced by the Dance company.
Dancers are recommended for the Pre-Troupe program by their class teachers and participation is by invitation only.
