Support Our Mission

Ballet Continental is fueled by community support. Help us further our mission to make dance education and performance opportunities accessible to as many students as possible.

Volunteer

Volunteers play a vital role in the success of Ballet Continental by providing the time, skills, and services that allow the organization to operate efficiently and maintain high artistic standards. This shared effort — between dancers, families, team members, and community supporters — forms our organization’s community: a collaborative network working together toward a common artistic goal.

Volunteer opportunities vary throughout the year, but may include:

  • Costume sewing and alterations

  • Performance ticket sales and lobby attendants

  • Prop and set construction

  • Event food coordination

  • Administrative and office support

  • Community outreach and civic engagement

  • And more!

If you would like to donate your time and expertise by volunteering, please reach out to our Volunteer Committee at: volunteer@balletcontinentaldance.org

Partners

Ballet Continental would especially like to thank and recognize the following organizations and individuals for their generous support. We are deeply grateful for your partnership in supporting the arts, enriching our community’s culture, and making education and performance opportunities available to aspiring dancers in Southern Arizona.

HEY Productions

HEY Productions is a neighboring 501(c)(3) nonprofit performing arts company, focusing on musical theater for youth ages 8-24. Many of our dancers also participate in their program, and parent volunteers often help with production support for both organizations.

Country Fair White Elephant

The Country Fair White Elephant has been a generous supporter of Ballet Continental’s performance program for many years, along with over 100 other organizations throughout Southern Arizona. Their 2025 contribution of $20,000 was applied towards the production budgets for our Dance Company’s annual performances, funded scholarships and unique workshops for dancers, and enabled the installation of full-height mirrors in our studio space for use during dance classes and performance rehearsals.

Arizona Commission on the Arts

The Arizona Commission on the Arts provides grants, programs, services and leadership in support of the arts and arts learning programs throughout the State of Arizona. Their $4,600 grant supported our teacher-in-training program, providing dancers an opportunity to become dance teachers themselves.

The Optimist Club of Green Valley/Sahuarita

The Optimist Club of Green Valley/Sahuarita, a local chapter of Optimist International, generously donated $500 towards the purchase of new costumes for our annual holiday performance of The Nutcracker Ballet.
