Tuition and Fees

Tuition is calculated monthly based on the total number of minutes each dancer’s classes meet per week, starting at just $25 per month for a 30 minute class.

Discounts apply the more classes you take. There are also per-dancer and per-family cost maximums, keeping your dance experience budget friendly!

Monthly recurring billing is set up with a debit or credit card, or ACH bank transfer. Ballet Continental is also an Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) certified vendor so participating dancers may use ClassWallet funds for tuition payments.

Dancers

A registration fee of $20 per dancer is due at the time of registration. Registration fees are capped at $35 per family.

New dancers who enroll after the first week of the month will receive prorated tuition for that first month — 3 weeks of classes remaining in the month: 75% of the regular monthly tuition; 2 weeks remaining: 50% tuition; 1 week remaining: 25% tuition. Regular monthly tuition rates apply thereafter.

For dancers enrolled in multiple classes, monthly tuition is capped at $215 per dancer. If you have more than one dancer in your immediate family, monthly tuition is capped at $280 per family.

Annual Recital

Each dance season culminates in our annual dance recital in late spring, where dancers showcase everything they have learned in their classes that year.

There are no additional registration fees for participation in the annual recital, but dancers will need to purchase costumes for each class. Costumes typically range from $55 to $70 per class. Costumes are usually finalized and costs communicated in December.

Tickets for family and friends attending the recital are $5 per ticket, which helps to cover the costs of renting the performance space.

Dance Company

For dancers interested in participating in our Dance Company program, a non-refundable $20 audition fee is due at the time of audition. If selected for the program, a $150 annual fee is due by February 28. A late fee of $50 may be incurred if the annual fee is paid after this date, but before May 31, and an additional late fee of $50 will be incurred for payments received after June 1.

Dancers invited to participate in our Pre-Troupe training program will be assessed a $100 annual fee, due at the time of their first rehearsal.

There are no additional monthly fees for the Dance Company or Pre-Troupe programs. Participants will be expected to meet ticket and advertising sales goals for performances, which vary and are communicated at the start of each season.

Payments

Tuition is billed on the first day of each month. Automatic payments are processed on the 5th day of the month. Payments received after the 10th day of the month may incur a $25 late fee. If tuition remains unpaid for 45 days, the dancer may not be permitted to attend classes until the outstanding balance is settled.

Tuition is non-transferable and non-refundable unless a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, in which case a full refund will be issued. To withdraw from a class, send written notice before the first day of the month to avoid being charged. No refunds will be issued for mid-month withdrawals.

ESA and ClassWallet

Ballet Continental is proud to be an Arizona Department of Education Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) certified vendor for dance instruction!

Participating dancers can use ESA funds to pay tuition and fees using their ClassWallet account. Please contact us after registering for classes if you’d like to use ClassWallet and we will work with you to set everything up.
